These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ZConnect(the "Service"), a web application for contractor goal tracking, progress management, onboarding, and calendar/meeting coordination.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
ZConnect may include features such as:
- Team "Clear Line of Sight" goals and progress tracking
- Personal goals, tasks, and work logs
- Onboarding videos and progress tracking
- Calendar events, meeting requests, and optional Google Calendar / Meet integration
- Administrator tools for contractors, metrics, and platform configuration
Features may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with or without notice.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- Accounts are provisioned by an administrator. You may not create an account unless invited or created by an authorized admin.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- The Service is intended for adult workforce use. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload malware or content you do not have rights to share
- Misuse meeting, email, or Google Calendar features to spam or harass others
- Reverse engineer or scrape the Service except where permitted by law
- Share your credentials or allow others to use your account without authorization
Administrators may suspend or remove access if these Terms are violated or if needed to protect the Service or other users.
4. User content
You retain rights to content you submit (such as goals, notes, tasks, profile details, and uploaded images). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the Service for you and your organization.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content and that it does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.
5. Google Calendar integration
If you connect Google Calendar, you authorize ZConnect to create calendar events and optional Meet links using Google APIs under the permissions you grant. Connection is optional and can be disconnected in Settings or revoked in your Google Account.
Google's services are governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Google's services, availability, or data handling outside the scopes and actions described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Organization / administrator control
If your access is provided through a company or administrator, that organization may manage your account, view certain Service data according to role-based access, and request changes or deletion. Features and visibility (for example, team goal rankings) may expose some of your progress information to other authenticated users.
7. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, databases, file storage, email delivery, Google APIs, and embedded media (such as YouTube for onboarding). Your use of those third-party services may be subject to their terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by ZConnect or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service other than the limited right to use it as permitted.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that calendar/email integrations will always succeed.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZCONNECT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $100 IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZConnect and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
Your access may end when an administrator disables or deletes your account, when you stop using the Service, or when we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.
13. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the operator of ZConnect primarily conducts business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory local consumer or employment laws provide otherwise.
